LO2 Unit 3: Be able to plan and develop pre-production materials for an original media product to a client brief Moodboard This is my mood board. It gives an insight into what my magazine will look like and what will be included in it. For example, my magazine colours will be pink and purple. This is due to the fact pop music is associated with happy vibes so to continue this theme, album covers as shown use a pink or a purple tinge. I will continue this pink and purple theme with my magazine as it could be easily recognised as pop music whereas if I used darker colours such as grey it could be seen as rap or grime. I have also included my fonts for my front cover. Font styles The mast head will use two fonts but the strap line cover line and featured article on the front cover will be written in Bentosa which is the same font that passion is written in. And the body copy will be written in birds of paradise in purple to keep with the theme.      Prism...

Learning Outcome 3 (U21): Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions (D1)

LO3 Unit 21: Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions One point, made by the professional, that was useful in helping  me to amend my magazine was whether the style of my title suited my target audience. I explained that it helps my magazine stand out by using two different typefaces; unlike other magazines that use a simple typeface, mine gives my magazine a bolder look through the contrast of the typefaces. He then commented on the colours of my title and whether they would complement the main image. He suggested looking into other colours even though pink and purple do associate with vibrant peppy colours. I will research into more colours after I have a main image to ensure that the colours stand out along...

LO3 unit 21: Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond questions Final pitch video Final pitch Power Point media from amberjadebernard Feedback Do you think the style of the title addresses the age of the target audience? Answer Yes, I felt that because the style of my title is unique and gives a vibe of sophistication compared to  other pop magazine which are childish such as We  ❤︎ Pop,  as the heart gives it a childish vibe whereas my magazine style looks aesthetically-pleasing through the vibrant colours and the use of two different typefaces, but also  ensures a level of sophistication which will draw the teenagers in. Feedback The professional said he was a little bit worried with the use of uncoated paper. Answer The reason I chose uncoated paper is because if its recyclable people may choose our brand over others Feedback Would you offer the online copy with the hard copy? Answer I will add ...
